How to evaluate a workflow pack before you buy
A workflow pack, or bundle, sells several automations together. That can be good value or a folder of files you will never run. This checklist helps you tell the difference before you pay.
It applies to n8n, Make and Zapier packs alike, and to packs bought on any marketplace.
What exactly is included?
Is every workflow listed by name, with a sentence on what it does? A bare count of files tells you little.
Are the workflows related to each other or to one use case, or is it a random collection?
Is each one complete, or are some only starting points?
Which platform is each one for: n8n, Make or Zapier?
Credentials and accounts
Is there a list of every account and credential each workflow needs?
Do you already have those accounts, and are any of them paid?
Does the seller say what permissions each connection asks for? Give each one only what it needs.
Versions and compatibility
Does the listing state the version of the platform it was tested on and its own version number?
For n8n: does it need community nodes, and was it tested self-hosted, hosted or both?
For Make: do the modules fit within your plan’s operations and scheduling limits?
For Zapier: does any step need a paid plan or a premium app?
Documentation and screenshots
Is there a setup guide that takes you from import to first run?
Are there screenshots of the whole workflow, not just a logo or a banner?
Do you get sample input and output, so you know what a working run looks like?
Support and updates
Does the seller explain how they handle questions and bug reports?
Do they say if and how they update the pack when an app or platform changes?
Does the seller have a profile, other listings and reviews you can read?
Licence
Check what you are allowed to do with the files. Can you use them for client work? Can you modify them? Can you resell or share them? If the listing does not say, ask the seller before you buy and keep their answer.
Security: read before you run
Skim the workflow before you activate it. Look at every HTTP request node or module and check where it sends data.
Read any code step. It runs with access to the data passing through the workflow.
Look for hard-coded keys or addresses, and replace them with your own credentials.
Test with dummy data first, in a separate workspace if you can.
Refunds
On Automation Workflows, refund requests are reviewed case by case, and for standard products they must be made within 14 days of purchase. Plan to import and test everything inside that window rather than leaving the files unopened.
Bundles on this marketplace
The current number of published listings in the Bundles category.
Use the checklist above on any of them. A good listing answers most of these questions on its own page.

A ten-second version
Are the contents listed one by one?
Are credentials and versions stated?
Is there a setup guide and are there screenshots?
Is the licence clear?
Can you test it inside the refund window?
